SHARP Sculpture Unveiling at Frame Park

SHARP has partnered with sculptor Alberto Villalobos, Design Fugitives, the City of Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department, and Waukesha elementary school students from SHARP’s summer learning program to create the sculpture, Caras de Waukesha (Faces of Waukesha), which was unveiled Saturday, January 25 in Waukesha’s Frame Park.

The 7-foot totem-like structure features a series of masks that represent and celebrate the Latino immigrant experience in Waukesha, as well as steel panels that incorporate the cut-out designs submitted by SHARP students.
