CBS 58 posted a story on October 20 covering SHARP’s delivery of STEAM-integrated educational programs to students for the 2020-21 school year. Launching Monday, Oct. 19, the lessons are designed to help bridge the opportunity gap and mitigate learning regression associated with the pandemic and summer learning loss.
“With in-person learning on hold, our talented education team worked tirelessly to transform SHARP’s STEAM-based curriculum into a 100% virtual program, which includes the coordination and assembly of thousands of lesson-related activity kits for students in 35 urban schools,” Lynda Kohler, president and CEO of SHARP Literacy said. “With Covid-related learning regression in the forefront of our minds, the continuation of our program is critical.
