Meagan Van Ahn is an experienced educator and curriculum writer whose background includes teaching and developing programs in both New York City and Wisconsin. She holds a Bachelor’s in Spanish from Marquette University as well as a Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership from Baruch College at the City of University of New York. She has a passion for creating innovative programs for students that integrate the arts into core subject areas such as math and science. She first joined SHARP as a Bilingual Classroom Guide in 2017 and in her current role, she oversees all the curriculum and implementation of technology programming for our students including Design Through Code, STEAM Big Leaguers and Urban Techies. In addition to her work as an educator, Meagan is also a visual artist and her murals for SHARP Literacy can be seen at MSOE’s Grohmann Museum, Forest Home Avenue School and Rogers Street Academy.
