Manager of Technology & Innovation
Jennifer joined SHARP Literacy in October 2019 as the Manager of Technology & Innovation. Her passion for digital literacy motivates her to teach students ways to use technology effectively and appropriately, preparing them for future schooling and career aspirations. During her lessons, Jennifer strives to create safe learning environments for students. She does not view failure as a hindrance to student achievement, but rather a stepping stone that leads to student success. Jennifer draws on experience from her time as an Adobe and Apple software trainer and a graphic design professor at Marquette University. At Marquette, she co-operated an innovation lab where she helped faculty and staff incorporate technology into their classrooms and carefully guided students on creative projects. She also most recently spent two years in a middle school teaching 4th – 7th grade in a hands-on, project-based learning class where students were introduced to the principles and ideas of STEM/STEAM.
