Since early 2017, SHARP Literacy and the Marquette University Men’s Basketball team have enjoyed a uniquely satisfying program that brings results. In the Reading With the Golden Eagles program, Marquette University’s men’s basketball team reads to students at SHARP schools. The athletes acting as role models has a real impact on the students. Recently, Lynda Kohler of SHARP Literacy and Steve Wojciechowski, head coach of Marquette Men’s Basketball, appeared on TODAY’S TMJ4  to discuss how the program encourages young students to read.
