The Milwaukee Times covered the unveiling of SHARP’s Our True Colors mural in Milwaukee’s historic Bronzeville. The article described SHARP’s initiative to inspire children to think about who they are, as opposed to what they are. Guided by fine artist Vedale Hill, 50 students painted mannequins meant to represent their outward appearance as well as their lived experiences and characteristics.
